Hello! , I’m here to tell you about the goings-on not only at Red Sky Orchards fruit stand, but in local agriculture from both a farmers and consumers point of view. From what is currently in season at Red Sky to the merits of organic vs. inorganic fruit, this is the place for peach noshers and info seekers alike.

Red Sky Orchards orchards got its start in the 1960’s when Llyod Wise, a pioneering potato farmer, decided to try his luck in apple farming on a remote piece of land outside of Yakima, WA. Today, Red Sky Orchards has evolved into a premium fruit and mercantile business near Cle Elum, WA. It now is owned and operated by Lloyd’s youngest son Randy and his wife Laura. In addition, their children Derric, Kara (me!), and Ryan fill their own unique roles in the business.
